We’re pleased to announce that the new Power Inspired website is now online after having gone through a radical transformation.

Since our foundation in 2008, our business has grown and developed along some unexpected lines. From being a distributor and agent for larger UPS companies we are now manufacturers in our own right, with our own VIX series UPS, our AC ReGenerators and a full range of power distribution units and cable adapters and accessories. Not only that, but we now provide UPS service and management functions for a number of blue-chip clients. We’ve tailored our website in order to reflect more appropriately what Power Inspired are all about.

Not that we’ve forgotten our roots. We still offer for sale online all of our products as well as superb value products from our preferred partners on our UPSMart webstore, many items despatched from our warehouse on a next day service.

We hope you like the new site and we’d welcome any comments or suggestions.

UPSMart UPS Webstore is back online

UPSMart Website now online

After some consolidation of websites the UPSMart webstore has undergone a major revamp and is now back online. UPSMart is the online trading division of Power Inspired Ltd and is dedicated to bring you high value power protection solutions.

Starting with the VIX Series UPS which is an ideal power protection solution with AVR, battery backup, USB comms and all for under £50 delivered for the 600VA version and under £80 for the 1200VA with double the power and double the battery.

For online double conversion we’ve got high end products as well as the superb value E200 series from Dale Power Solutions. Added to the mix are sine wave line interactive systems and an excellent range of inverters from Tripp Lite, which offer high charging capacity, mostly 12Vdc input and a pure sine-wave output.

A complete range of electrical accessories help get your UPS connected, as well as replacement batteries and cables.

If you were a existing Power Inspired customer, all your details have been transferred to the new webstore so you can log on with the same email and password and still view your previous orders.

More Website Consolidation

There’s exciting times ahead at Power Inspired, with a new range of products designed and currently moving into production. More news on these to follow.

In the meantime our blog as you can see as moved from the old UPSMart site to this one (www.powerprotectionblog.com) which makes more sense really. We’re going to launch a brand new UPSMart webstore removing needless clutter and making the site far more user friendly and manageable.

The Power Inspired site will be more focussed on our new product range as well as our own products. Third party products will be available from the new UPSMart store but you can still make purchases through the Power Inspired website until the new store is ready – by the end of September.

We’ve got a few of the OPTI ES series product that we’re clearing at great prices. A number of ES550C are available at the amazing price of £70.50 – and that includes VAT AND UK delivery.

Next up are the ES1000C-RM and ES1500C-RM, both rack mount systems for only £141 and £175, again including VAT and UK delivery.

UK Postage Charges Slashed

We’ve recently sat down with our suppliers and negotiated new rates for our postage charges and we are pleased to say that prices are down across the board!

Smaller items will now be despatched through the post rather than courier slashing these costs, and we’ve now got a two tier upto 10Kg for only £8.05 and upto 30kg for only £11.50. All shipping charges are now detailed on the individual product pages so there are no surprises when you place your order.

While we’re on the subject we’re often asked why we don’t offer free shipping. Well that’s because shipping is never free. Anything with free shipping has the costs already incorporated into the price. So if you order more than one item you’re losing out as the items are usually combined into one delivery which is what we regularly do. For example, if you order a UPS from us and some additional power leads, the postage charge will be the same for the UPS with or without the leads. If we offered free shipping this wouldn’t be the case.

Remember we’re the most competitive UPS Systems store you will find anywhere.

We’ve added a new tool to the shop to help in identifying which Uninterruptible Power Supply meets your requirements. Knowing what power consumption you require can be a big unknown for may people, so we have added a comprehensive list of over 2000 computers, printers, monitors, networking equipment, storage devices and telecom systems to our Select Uninterruptible Power Supply By Device tool.

Simply select what load you have and add your own items and the tool will calculate your total power requirement. Hit “Select My UPS System” and the tool integrates with the existing bo-selector tool to enable you to make further choices such as run time, technology, form factor, manufacturer to give you the Uninterruptible Power Supply that meets your requirements.

New Improved Selection Guide

Our product list is now so comprehensive that we feel it’s a little difficult for the novice to know exactly which UPS meets his requirements. We’ve now improved our UPS selector tool and also placed it right on the shop home page.

The biggest change we’ve introduced is that we can now identify which UPS will meet your runtime requirements for any load. Of course we’ve had to introduce a number of approximations to do this, but we feel the result is a very good guess.

We’ve also added a new feature, that will highlight the UPS which is the best price, the one that gives you the best performance, and the one that provides the best value in terms of technology and price.

Note that not all products will show up on the selector, as we need to programme in certain details of the UPS and this takes time, however we do have Powerware, Kehua and Opti-UPS all present. Although we’ve tested this, it is inevitable that we may have made a mistake or two. Please feel free to let us know if you find any.
